I discovered the Beelzebub from the Triode thread here on TB and decided to give it a pop. Grayson is a great guy and quickly sent me one. I love it, it won't do anything heavy but as a clean to slightly hairy OD it's great - seems to work very well with my Demeter head anyway. If I didn't have the Mobius I would be very tempted to try the Neptune Tremolo but the Hex looks cool too.

I decided that the thundaa was to good not to be on the main board so i redid the board :)
The spot under the power supply is gonna be for my new micro tuner that I'm about to buy since i had to take my pitchblack off to fit everything.

Hey Jared... @Jared Lash

I am really digging the ODB. I used it extensively on Tuesday with my space doom band and made my DG Vintage Deluxe sound anemic. It sits in the mix like beautifully, warm and round with a subterranean edge that make you afraid. It's sounds a little evil. I also used it tonight with my hippy reggae band and it worked there too... I used it to make my P sound a little like an growly upright bass.

In short, it's my new favorite OD... by a mile.

Thanks for the Bad Stone advice... I'm going to take it. WHat's the mode you do to reduce the pop?

Edit: I'll take your advice if I can find a bad stone... seems like no one's got'em.

Edit 2: found one! 15 min from my house.

Going to be bringing some fresh pedal snobbery to my small/trio board. It's been getting dangerously close to hitting 100% Source Audio critical mass (only the tuner and power supply were different brands) and I decided to go a different way and utilize some classics. One new addition might be coming from down under, so we'll see how that shipping process goes :whistle:

The main board is just waiting on a certain Gonkulator reissue to arrive and hopefully fill a painfully empty spot, speaking of bringing the freshness.

i've downsized to a nano for good i hope. I realized i had atleast 3 effects that i "barely" used. if only on one or two different songs with my band. So i decided the Zoom multistop would be able to cover all of my secondary effects. and the b7k is my distortion, which i used on nearly every song. and compression is always on, so i downsized from an mxr compressor to the spectracomp. I love nano boards, its like carrying a little puppy around.

Hey Matt,

The Bad Stone mod is just a big resistor (I used a 1 M ohm) from the output cap to the ground. It really reduces the pop from the switch.

I want to check out that Dunwich ODB.

Jared... it turns out, my bad stone doesn't really pop that much.

Re checking out the ODB, maybe it's time we had a Bay TB GTG.

Been trying to use less and less effects, and now i'm back to Tetris stacking again ghaa lol
Think I will change the OC-3 for a cog t-16 later on, or just get a custom with two t16...hmm...
Edit: Well after tonight's rehearsals, the phaser is out, and I use the sub only on the mxr and overdrive only on the OC-3.
Such a surprisingly evil barking tone those two make together.
The clean sound on the Rusty is so cutting I find myself playing more and more with only the Rusty.
