PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Finally pieced together my first real board. Have had a few effects here and there over the years but not a proper setup. Pretty happy with it except the DD-20 is going and being replaced by a Wonderlove and an Idiotbox 76 Super Bass-o-matic.

Nice!

How's the Holy Mountain?

Hey mate, It's much less bass friendly that the other Midnight Amps pedals I've used as opposed to the Host Moon which is practically perfect for bass.

It has enormous gain to the point that anything past 1 on the Master is too much and goes into cranked Guitar Amp territory.

I will confess, I tinkered with the biasing against the builder's recommendations (though I did this before he told me not to touch it). After adjusting the massive gain internally and some fine tuning it sits firmly in Darkglass territory.

So sorry, overall I wouldn't recommend it. They have a new pedal which they recommended as a more Bass Specific pedal which looks amazing.

Looks like you have your Volt Thrower set pretty flat.

I guess I have "The Sickness" ... the woman is starting to notice the pedal boxes stacking up, lol. :D

The Blower Box showed up today and I picked up the Ditto this morning. The Blower Box is something else - I need to futz with it a little more. It does sound great after the Pork Loin (JohnK mod)! The Ditto is a lot of fun.. another great tool for annoying my neighbors. You like bass? How about 4 layers of distorted and phased out bass? Yeah, that's right - you like bass..

The candy toppers were just for fun. I may or not keep them.

Newest iteration. Doing some recording so I swapped out my OC2 for the line selector to run my DI from. Man o man, the ictineo, fifth Gear, and MBD1 are amazing additions to my sound. I'd love to get another fuzz and a filter on here, and I really want to give the afterneath a go. But right now my tone and drive/dirt is covered. Never been happier!
