PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

Put together a small board before practice because I'm lazy and want to carry less stuff.

Small, but potent. That also would describe my ex-wife. You're better off fooling around with the board.

Great board !

I owned the AMT wah and, although I loved how it sounded, I couldn't get used to very short sweep. Or maybe it wasn't that short, but I felt like I could never precisely find the right position from the first try.
Yes it has a short sweep and for my needs that's fine. That's for sure a toy for now till I find a need in a song. Like the frequency range option and dual led to indicate it's turned on.

Still on the fence about the Demon King and Compressor. Two seperate Muff clones though, different flavors. TFR is still a close second to me behind the BB. Giving Fuzzrocious a fair shake at this too. Kids watching TV. Can't blow them out of the room at the moment.
Headed over to pick up my other rig and see how it works with the GK 400RB and Bag End D10BX-D. Looking at Carvin power amps right now to run two D10BX-D... but thats another thread.

I haven't, but i know a friend of mine has one, so i'm going to adk if i can give it a test run. people say it has the worst bypass ever... so i'm afraid it would affect my tone to hard...

Hmm, Ive never heard that. The worst bypass anyway. I dont notice it. Ive been playing with in my chain for a while though so I could be wrong. I like it because it has that volume and Q. There are better ones out there IMO, but the 105q is good for me.

LOL I was going to take a picture of my last arrangement will everything on too but the halo from the grey stash blead out the detail of the pedal. Then you. :)
How are you likeing the brimstone? Some others on there I need to research.

Well I got a couple new pedals today! It was my 10 year wedding anniversary on Thursday, so my lovely wife bought me a present...she knew I had been lusting after the Blower Box for a while now...so she bought it for me, and it showed up today in the mail!!!

What I didn't know, is that she'd been paying attention to my other pedal wants too...she bought me the TC Electronic Hall of Fame Mini too!!!

It's going to be a happy noisy weekend!!

Here's the whole board, Not as fancy as many boards on here, but it rocks me just fine :bassist: Looks like I'm almost ready to join the Pedal Breeders Club!

Just got the Blower Box in today, so I can finally put together a board at work! However, I can't decide whether or not to replace the mxr with an empress comp and my guitarist is pressuring me to get a looper. Aye! Any bad@ss looper suggestions?

Yeah, it seemed silly to me, but apparently he thought it would make a cool background...

Love the Brimstone; it's definitely an always-on situation for me. An amazingly versatile tone shaper even without the boost engaged. Hate the form factor though. I'll be first in line for the downsized version with the boost gain trimpot.

My new favorite toy is that GFI System Equalisys though. It is two broad spectrum, fully-parametric EQs (with separate inputs and outputs for each one), which can be engaged independently or together in 'series', 'parallel', or 'independent' modes, which basically means that it can be used as an EQ (single parametric with two presets), a signal splitter with an EQ for each signal, or a pre-post EQ. Really cool piece of kit. Apparently it's discontinued, but I was able to find one on Rakuten.

I made that compressor upgrade. I don't regret it at all.

Also, I really like my Pigtronix Infinity Looper, but that's probably overkill for most situations.

A woman who buys you pedals is definitely a keeper! I know, I have one myself...
