PYPB 44: ...like Tetris with boxes, wires and cables

but isn't it a bigger ss/bs Mini?

It's really quite different.
The eq is different. The f doesn't have the same low end as the mini but, for me at least, it has plenty.
Instead of just a bias knob that you need to bend over (I hate bending over!!!) to get two different sounds with, you get a footswitch that you get two sounds with.
What's even awesome'er is the switch that lets you choose what the second footswitch does... straight overdrive then crackle when engaged or vise versa.
I will also add that the crackle with the threshold knob sound nothing like the bias on the mini. The best way I can describe it is: broken up but buttery.

mmmm.....I somehow can't get along with my Mini (yet), maybe the F would be better.....I love butter

Cleaned up the board a bit for aesthetics and more accessibility to my most-used pedals. I like the look of the two Source Audio pedals way more side-by-side!

Everything is in the effect loop of the Empress Buffer+, which then goes out to the Nemesis & Ventris (didn't want the noise filter on the delay effects).

Nice layout :-).

Got a couple of questions: is the Empress buffer doing a job on your board similar to what the Boss LS-2 does on mine, i.e. splitting signals and ensuring low-end integrity when I'm using effects ? Also, I really like the way you write out your sig, with a link to your pedalboard pic... how do you get that done ?

Thanks!! The Empress Buffer is pretty much acting as a buffer and noise filter for everything in its effect loop. The signal enters into the Empress Buffer+, then the Source Audio Nemesis and Source Audio Ventris. The loop in the Buffer+ goes:

Seymour Duncan Studio Bass Compressor -> TC Electronic Polytune2 Mini -> 3Leaf Audio Octabvre Mini -> 3Leaf Audio Doom -> Fredric Effects Bugcrusher -> Moog MF-101 Low Pass Filter -> DOD Meatbox -> Subdecay Quasar DLXv1 -> EHX Bass Clone

The link in my signature block is just a hyperlink I embedded!

This board has a recent addition of a Subdecay Noisebox as well as some re-ordering. I've learned to use the Manta as a wah and really dig it. The Gonkulator is a fun pedal that likes dirt feed into it. Really loving this second board and consider on par with my main at this point.

My main crazy board is just crazy. Newest addition of the Effector 13 Vintage Fuzz Master that has a Superfuzz/Octavia vibe. Switched some stuff around to a better order. Starting to really like the FMereon that it's "additive" synthesis is truly different from "subtractive".
