I'm constantly rotating fuzzes/distortions with the 2 Filter FX Loops on my board. Lately I'm finding that I need to have some kind of Big Muff in one of the slots, but these 4 all sound great too.

I'm constantly rotating fuzzes/distortions with the 2 Filter FX Loops on my board. Lately I'm finding that I need to have some kind of Big Muff in one of the slots, but these 4 all sound great too.
Change is the only constant. Flew too close to the sun on wings of wax and blew out my MBD2, plugging into the wrong socket. Sometimes starting over can be the best part.

No, if I do a DI for FOS at a show,
I go out of my Mesa WD800, which has a great DI. But, if the Mesa amp ever fails, I know I have a quality backup on my board.

And as long as he makes the band sound good, I don't argue.
If you saw the Dr. Dre half time show at last year's super bowl, you would have seen the bass player playing through a BassRig Super Vintage as a DI. Not odd, totally understandable!
I was running a Nemesis and a Collider - one as delay, one as verb, plus the ability to stack a delay.
In time, I found that all the delay types I made use of were on the Collider anyway and so the extra function of the Nemesis wasn't needed. I'd also played around with stacking 3 delays and loved it, so once the announced that the Collider could be unlocked to run 2 delay or 2 verb in a single patch, the promise of running 4 stacked delays (or 4 verb, or any combo of the two) was too great! As such, I sold the Nemesis and bought a 2nd Collider. I've never looked back.
Strictly speaking with the CSIDMAN, I can (and do) stack 5 delays for huge ambient soundscapes. Love it.
Overall, I think the Collider is stunning on bass. The tonal quality is fantastic and the response to bass frequencies is as good as my previous number one delay choice (TC Nova Delay iB Modified version).
Oh, definitely. I have a Collider myself, and I have been toying with adding an El Cap in front of it to toss the dedicated multihead tape delay in front and free up the Collider to do more of the weird stuff on the fly.

I was going to say that the resulting collision from the colliders causes an aftershock which then ricochets throughout the xerograph bitmap landscape creating quite a frazzdazzler of a synesthesia.

Almost there for my direct live board. Hopefully the TS9B will carve around my drummer's toms for the songs where he just pounds away on them. Everything else has tested pretty good.

Finally upgraded to the Empress Bass Compressor, and it's incredible right out of the box. MXR Poly Blue makes it back onto the board, and trying out the Walrus Luminary.
Luminary is most likely not staying. I like the octave tone a bit more than my EHX stuff, but I found out the attack envelope only opens the once, it doesn't work on a per note basis like the Hog/Pog. I swear, if EHX made a Hog3 that was smaller with soft touch switches, it'd be a perfect pedal.

New gig, new approach. This band's music doesn't call for much pedal-wise, so taking it pretty simple. Opportunity to break out my T-Birds. Now where in the ??? did I leave the little board in this mess?

My OCD is slightly up in arms over the lack of straightness, hanging over the edges, and cables not tucked away. But, that does indeed look like a hell of a lot of fun! Plenty of sounds to delve into there. Enjoy, sir!
Got a new Voodoo Small-ex board today from my local dealer. Downsizing to only the pedals I use regularly. I'm loving this setup!
