Seems to me an EHX Bass Micro Synth could probably get you close.
As far as one pedal solutions, I think I'd lean towards the Deep Impact.
I Googled Deep Impact and found a few DVDs. Is there a manufacturer's name on that one for me to look at?
The boss multis have a synth that's pretty close. Our local mj cover band uses one and it is good enough for a live gig.
I've also used an envelope filter to get close enough for a bar gig.
Ok, you've actually got a few options. The Akai Deep Impact or Markbass Super Synth would probably get you the closest but the Boss GT-10B could probably get fairly close as well. I can just about get that same sound with my MXR Bass Octave Deluxe and Chunk Systems Agent 00Funk Mk. II and Brown Dog as well. Now that I think of it, I'm almost positive that either the Eventide Pitch Factor or Mod Factor could swing it as well I just can't remember which.
