Do they offer the same legendary durability as the Spiro mitts, weichs, and starks?

I haven't used them in a long time (college in the 80's), but when I did they had the same durability- same set for about six years, and they were still going strong when I (foolishly) sold the bass. I had them tuned to orch pitch too.
