Hey. I just recently acquired a used GP 7 SM 250 combo from GC for $200. It had been sitting for awhile so they decided to blow it out on Labor Day. Well, I wasn't really looking for an amp, but at that price I was able to convince the wife I NEEDED it. Plus, I've had a hankering for more Trace gear since I had sold mine 7-8 years ago. Only one problem--virtually no output. And it was distorted at that. Now, the price was for a properly functioning unit, so they're repairing it. My question is, has anyone else ever had a similar problem? What could be the cause? And should the turnaround be this long?
