Good day all
I have a qsc rmx 2450 I'm thinking of using as a power amp. Anyone using one of these and your opinion. Also what cabs are you using then.
I have QSC RMX 5050, PLX 3602 and 1804. They all work great for bass with any cab I have tried. Fan noise might be an issue when practicing at bedroom levels, though...
An RMX2450 is a great amp, its bridgeable at 4ohms for loads of power and headroom, but at 50lbs.,its waaay too heavy for me. (And probably most everyone else).
I certainly hope you're thinking of using it as a poweramp as that's what it is.
I haven't had that specific model but everything I have had that said QSC on it has been just wonderful....truly professional grade stuff. My little old MX700 is still pick of the litter.
