Quality Control on...

I am very interested to know about the quality control on Bongo's. I just played one this weekend and i fell in love with the 4 band eq. The problem is i don't have the cash to spend on that sort of thing right now. I was wondering if they had any quality control problems so i could not feel bad about buying one online used.

EBMM has the best quality control out of any large company I have dealt with. I just bought a brand new bass from them and it is fantastic.

Quality control on EB/MM basses is excellent, however, where they end up before they're sold to you may cause some potential concern...

I fully agree on the EBMM quality control being excellent.

EB/MM has some of the best if not THE BEST QC in the bass industry. The only bass I wouldn't hesitate to buy used, sight unseen.

Best quality production basses out there. I have owned maybe 6 EB/MM instruments, and played 10 more, and have never found a quality flaw in any of them.

EBMM has astonishingly good QC. Just make sure you get one straight from the factory. There are a lot of poor, abused "GC-esque" ones floating around out there..

I just picked up a new active Sub 5 (for $499) from GC. It was perfectly set up (!) and plays like a dream. I was astounded at how solidly it is put together (6 bolt neck joint) and the quality of the fit and finish (the Subs have a textured finish). It's built like a brick s**t house. After seeing the craftsmanship they put into a "budget" bass like the Sub 5, I'd have no qualms about buying an EBMM product sight unseen. EBMM and Hamer USA instruments are the only instruments I'd buy that way with no fear.
