Queries on Cali76 CD and CB

Hi all, I do know that the CB has an extra HPF knob and the ATT/REL is a combined know compared to the CD.

But I am wondering does the CD without a HPF, will I be missing out a lot?

As there's one CD on my local secondary marketplace, which is approx $105 USD off brand new price (after conversion of my local currency to USD for reference), and if saving that $105 USD is worth compromising the lack of HPF.

Thanks in advance!

What's worth how much is up to you. I'll say this: The HPF is an incredibly useful, practical, musical feature.

ATT/REL combined sounded concerning before my purchase, but they did in fact do a great job of making the knob's entire range useful & usable combinations of the two settings, and I never felt it lacking for separate controls.

Thanks for your input. Will opt for the CB then.

Guess I will either wait for a used piece to appear on my local marketplace or wait for it to be restocked in shops.
Whichever comes faster.

Looks like the folks at GearHero have the CB in stock.

I'm based in Singapore, prefer to buy locally to save on shipping fee (and if need to use the warranty).

I have some updates from the local distributor there will be stock coming in by the end of the month, but he also told me there may be some new updates to either CB or maybe a new line for bass next week, which he also me to keep my eyes peel for it haha.
