Hey, I'm new here. Got tired of some people at Ultimate-Guitar not answering my questions....
I'm buying up everything on my G.A.S list (except for the Jazz) soon and I have a quick question about the Ibanez neck.
I'm used to maple necks, and I haven't personally playedt he Ibanez SR535, but I HAVE played the SR 505. I personally don't like that feel of the Bubinga/Wenge neck, but I loved the tone of the bass. Would the maple neck of the 535 dramatically differ in tone from the 505? Would it differ at all? There are no other difference in the two basses other than the neck and finish.
