I've searched existing posts for the answer to this question....I've learned a lot about ABY switches...but not the answer to my question. I'm hoping someone can help....
I've recently joined a RATM tribute band (trying to recreate Timmy C's tone is some kind of cruel and expensive punishment). I want to run two amps and need to buy an ABY switch (I have a $50 musicians friend gift card but can add some cash to that). Seems like there are a lot of complaints about hum with passive ABY switches.
1) Is the grounding issue with ABY switches a problem when running two amps? or is this just when people try to run two signal chains through one amp?
2) Does the Boss LS-20 work for running two amps simultaniously or will it only switch between two? I read the owners manual and it didn't look like you could run two amps simultaneously with this
3) Any recommendations for me would be appreciated.
