Question about an acoustic gig

My band's doing an acoustic in-store and I'm trying to figure out what to do with my bass. I'm playing a Godin A4. I was planning on going through a Sansamp BDDI into our PA. Any problems with that? I haven't tested it out yet. The only thing that trips me out is going from a bass with a preamp to a preamp. Would I run in to any problems? It just seems like more batteries and EQ than I'm used to.

the only thing is, that's basically a solidbody with a bridge piezo; basses like that usually don't really sound "acoustic" to me, because the piezo has such a wide bandwidth. you'll usually get this gigantic, sustaining full-range piano string sound that's almost "more electric than an electric", if that makes any sense.
