Question about my avatar

If I change my avatar, will I lose the current one? Haven't changed it in about a decade because I like it and don't want to lose the picture, but don't know if I can still find the original.

Also, is there any way I can turn the avatar into the original picture and then save it? Is it on file somewhere here within the workings of this forum? Thanks.

You can right-click on your avatar to save the image to your computer. It won't be any higher resolution than your avatar is though. Yeah, when you upload a new avatar it replaces the old.
