Double Bass Question about stand/display possible damage?

I recently had to reorganize my music room/den, and needed a new spot for my DB. I found that my Hercules stand stuck out a bit too much from the wall but then realized that the scroll of my bass lined up perfectly with the guitar hanger that I had previously mounted right above it, allowing me to push the stand towards the wall and free up some space. The bass is now in more of an upright position when on the stand as opposed to leaning back.

My question is: am I putting too much stress on the scroll or neck by storing it this way? Could this put more pressure on the neck heel joint since the weight is no longer on the back of the bass?
