Question about supporting membership

Besides the listed upgrades from general membership, does anything else change under the covers for supporting members, like cookie expiration times, or the like? The reason I ask is that it seems my searches seem to be valid for longer periods of wall clock time before expiring.

Do you mean "cannot"?
How long is a "while"? I think you need to re-up each year.

Correct. Supporting membership lasts one year by default, there are multi year subscription options available.
