Sorry: didn't really know where to post this. I bought a Korg Pandora last year to use as a tuner, and also to goof around with effects, record a bit, etc. I only recently noticed that when I tune, I can change a value from 438 to 445. What's that all about? It affects the tension, of course, and I'd always thought I had a problem with tension on my bass. I'm playing a Highway One Precision with D'Addario Chromes (50-105). What should I set this to, and why? Thanks!
You should set it to 440, unless you are playing along with a recording that you need to tune to. Why? Because A 440 is the standard tuning note for Modern Western Music.
