Nope.
As the output of the ds-1 is in phase with the input (roughly) you will just create a feedback loop.
You will either need to construct an external mixer (like the Ls-2, but could be simpler) or;
You can short the two legs of Q2 that connects to R13 and R14. When engaged this will mix in 50% dry (compared to bypass) with 50% distorted (compared to full volume before the mod).
If you are careful and just bride the two legs with a piece of wire (or maybe a switch?) you can easily undo this mod (cut the wire, flip the switch).
