Hi. I just received a new Eden EX110 8 ohm cabinet. I noticed on looking at the speaker, including whizzer cone, that there is a visible space between where the whizzer cone is attached to the voice coil area and where the surrounding "main" speaker speaker is attached to the voice coil area. This "gap" area is probably around 1/8 or so of an inch and appears tan or light brown in color (almost the color of a a paper bag). And by the way, you have to look sort of behind or to the side of the whizzer cone (in other words, you can't see the part I'm talking about straight on - You have to look behind the whizzer cone, at an angle so you can see what I mean - where it joins the voice coil area).
My question is: Does your speaker look this way (i.e. is this normal) or did something get "detached" in mine during shipping? I tried to take a photo, but the grill is causing the flash to reflect back and my apartment is too dark to really get a good photo without the flash.
Thoughts please?
Thanks in advance.
