The less adapters and connectors you have in the setup the better.
Lemme see if I have this straight:
1) You have an amp with nothing but one speakon for output
2) You have two cabs, with one speakon and one 1/4" TS each
3) To win, you need to hook up both cabs to the amp
The less adapters and connectors you have in the setup the better. Speakon-to-speakon from the amp to the 1st cab, and 1/4" to 1/4" or 1/4" to speakon from the 1st cab to the second cab ftw. The cable from the amp carries most of the current, and that's where you want to use speakons.
