Question on Emg btc system

Hi guys,
I bought an emg btc system. I have a noob question,Will it work with seymour duncan pups or does it only work with emgs?

Works with EMG pickups only. You need the BTC Control.

The BTC Control works with any pickups, active or passive.

The BTC System is advertised as only working with EMG's active pickups. But since the System consists of the Control and two additional 25k pots, it will work with passives if you don't use the extra pots, and instead substitute appropriate ones for passive pickups (usually either 250k or 500k).

There is a version of the BTC system that work with passive pickups as well. It's a bit hard to find, though. The tone control is the same, but the blend control have higher impedance inputs. I think they sell the blend control seperately. (ABC HZ)
