Question regarding split signal routing for DOD reissue Meatbox

Hello all,

Sorry if this question has been asked to death, I just can't seem to make sense of it after going through all the different threads. I have a reissue meatbox and the TRS cable (EBS ICY-30) and i understand that tip has the wet signal and ring has the dry signal. The issue I am running into is that, at least as far as i understand it (and let me know if i'm wrong), routing the signal this way still means that i will be getting output through the wet channel at all times. Is that correct?

Basically, I just want to send the wet channel to the subs in the house and have that signal never hit my amp at all, but have the wet signal also only be active when i press the pedal on. How can i run the signal so that the wet output only happens when i want it to. would i need a boss LS2 or something like that and, if so, what is the proper routing through the LS2? How can i get this working so that the wet signal from the meatbox never hits my amp on stage but is also not always on, if that makes sense. I would want to trigger it on and off to my liking to hit the subs when necessary.

My signal chain is looking like Bass - Cali 76 - Meatbox - OC2 - Noble Preamp/DI - Amp. The DI from the noble would be the DI to the house. Would i need an additional DI for the meatbox? I wouldn't want the signal to come through both DI's obviously.
