Questions For Older (50+) Bass Players

I played into my late 60’s. I’ve been told I look a bit younger….. well anyway. I used MIJ Geddy Lee Jazz basses for shows. Not too heavy, but we only did 1.5 hour sets, a tribute band. I do have a Fender Aerodyne that is lightweight. I put different pickup, Seymour Duncan Hot Stack in the bridge and new tuners and badass bridge. These were items I’ve had for a while so just got messing around with it and…….
I still used a rack set up and a 8 x 10 or two GK RBH cabs. Both are on the heavy side too. But hey, worth it to me. So I kept in shape moving gear around !! As far as your wife goes, always invite her for sure. Mine was my best critic and truthful too. She did some roadie work too, once or twice. Have at it !!!
