His Sly doc was great. Looking forward to this as well.
Questlove sure is on a roll. Summer of Soul, then the Sly doc, and now this ... GREAT STUFF!!!

Yeah, that’s gonna be good. Summer of Soul was amazing. Anything Quest touches is pretty much guaranteed to garner tons of attention.
Can’t hardly wait. I hope that eventually he will edit and release “Summer of Soul (Part II)there was so much additional footage that there just wasn’t time for in the first film.
If there is anybody in the world that I would trust to handle some of our best music history, its Questlove!
The interview with George Clinton when he tells him that they got arrested together is priceless…
I forget when the other Docs dropped, but it seems Questlove always starts the summer with them, no better summer music in the world!
Also a must watch for me. I don't have HBO so I'm not sure how or where I'll catch it. I haven't seen the Sly one yet either. Also a must see.
The mere quality of the material, and then the stupid fact that this was largely unknown to the public at large. An absolute must-watch.
They had a board with like only 8 channels on it and the sound is great, you hear everything. One of the better sounding music concerts of that era, especially since it was lost for such a long time. IMHO
For.people.who haven't seen it, its a perfect June watch to start to summer.
