Seems like it's in a reasonable price range. I've seen similar basses listed at slightly more, and CIJ/MIJ Fender is considered to be a well made bass for the money. That said, I'd offer a little less if this is a local sale.

That is on the high side in my books but it isn't crazy. As far as getting a price quote without supporting membership goes, you are allowed to do so as long as it is an item you are thinking of buying and not selling. This is to prevent people from posting free for sale ads without paying for membership. They should really update that post because it isn't enforced like it is written.
It really depends on the era of MIJ. I learned a lot about it recently when reuniting with my first bass (an 84-87 E series MIJ P bass). Some time periods are more revered than others.
I can't speak to how well mine plays yet. It's at a friend's shop (luthier) being set up and gone through. But I had a 93 MIJ Jazz that played like butter. Wish I hadn't sold it. They are very well made.
Give us some more details. Age and condition will factor heavily in price.

Value depends on some variables, but Japan Fender values have been on the rise for years now. If you find a nice one for $432 you're well ahead of the curve IMO. Good luck.
If it's in good condition I'd consider $432 a bargain, even before shipping. Beware, though, because some of them require removing the neck to adjust to truss rod, which I consider to be a real pain.
I've seen MIJ/CIJ Fenders priced for a whole lot more. If it's in good or better shape and everything works as they should, it sounds like a very good price.

japan fenders have been on the rise and will continue to do so. Last year i paid a ton of money for a mint condition circa 1997 cij mustang, $432.00 is not outrageous for that bass if everything is in order!
