Quick question on effect order

This isn't really covered from what I've seen, I'm just curious if I should reconfigure my chain or not.

Currently my signal chain is:

Wireless -> GT-6B -> Peavey Tour 700 ->Alesis 3630 in the effects loop -> Tour 700.

Just wondering if I should reconfigure so that the signal is as follows:

Wireless -> 3630 -> Gt-6B -> head??

Really wondering if I should put the compressor before the GT-6B or leave things as is?
