I certainly did not want to hijack this topic. 
Don‘t worry: I usually am not too loud (and he did not say so, just loud enough) AND the FoH really meant it as a compliment, because he was happy that someone finally used a real amp setup like in the good old days instead of the usual in ear stuff. Maybe he was a fellow bass player, who knows.
Anyway… what‘s that tube channel on the 803 gonna sound like?!?

It would be super interesting to compare the 3 voices of the 803 to the 2 voices of the Ampeg Venture V7 (B15 and SVT)

Not completely official, but when I see a video "2 weeks" on Facebook's Quilter Bass Amplifiers Owners Group, I'm thinking… humm
The "2 weeks" teaser was posted on September 17.
September 17 + 2 weeks = October 1st.
So if my math is correct, Quilter may (or may not) make an official announcement of the v803 on October 1st.
Does anybody know if Quilter makes announcements when a product is available, or months before?
Not sure about official announcement but Quilter Labs replied to a facebook group question on when the v803 is going to be available with "I'd say you have 100 hrs to go." I think your math checks out!
