I wanna see the back panel! I’ve been using my BB800 without issues since 2018. This has my attention.
I love the front panel features on this. The back panel features are going to be my big interests. Do we have an XLR out based on input gain rather than master volume? Do we have two XLR's, one based on input and one based on master volume? Very interested.
The BB800 has been a sleeper turned keeper for me.

I’m curious how the alternative voices will be implemented. Will there be variable lpf/hpf functions and OD ala Tone Hammer?
I'd be even more interested if the DI had not only a pre/post switch but its own volume control distinct from either the input gain or the MV. That way, if you wanted to crank the gain to get some dirt, you could still keep the level going to the PA controlled, and you could also keep it controlled if you found you needed to adjust your MV to be louder or quieter on stage.
Is the "Flat" and "Scoop" inputs meaning "0dB" and "-#dB"? I see "Flat" and "Scoop" and I think EQ frequencies...
No, I don't think so. I'm pretty sure that your first thought was correct, and that "scoop" refers to EQ. Padding or attenuation (-X dB) at the input would be the function of the active/passive/mute switch.

Funny, I was thinking the opposite. It’s a nice looking faceplate compared to the BB800.
It has a vintage Ampeg vibe with that font and lower case.
Yup and a feature ( Scoop ), that I would probably never use, if its the classic definition of " scoop. "
I don't know if I would either, but it's a very common feature these days. What I find puzzling is why they would make it, apparently, a fixed feature that can't be tweaked. Everywhere else I've ever seen it (and admittedly I haven't seen everything that's been out there), starting back with the contour knobs on the old SWRs, it's a variable feature controlled by a knob.
Seems like Quilter always has that one head scratcher with each version of the BB. Last time it was the lack of XLR DI / need for that silly adaptor. Still, this one I am interested in the most, may give it a try once it's out, I've heard Quilters pair real nice with Barefaced cabs.
I use a BF Super Twin and smile every time I get a chance to push it with my BB800. Ive been bit with new amp GAS so it’s great timing by Quilter. I can’t say anything bad about the BB, just looking for a fresh sound after 5 years.
