Actress Catherine O'Hara dies at 71
O'Hara, known for iconic films like "Beetlejuice" and "Home Alone," has died.
Sad day. What a talent the spread of her character range, for her work in Home alone, and poops Creek was impressive to say the least. Rip.
Oh, man. SCTV was a big part of my formative years. RIP, Catherine. A brilliant comic.

Bummer, and 71 is still fairly young in the age of modern medicine. Moira Rose’s demise is sadly true this time.
She was recently in those Chase commercials with Kevin Hart. I had no idea she had any health problems.

Really bummed about this one, she was up there with Gilda Radner and Madeline Kahn in my mind. The world's a little less bright now.
Her and John Candy - SCTV royalty. The scene in the truck in home alone...all improvised...killer.
Loved her in the Chris Guest movies, A Mighty Wind, Best in Show….so talented.
What a damn bummer. At our wedding, my wife walked down the aisle to "Kiss at the End of the Rainbow". Its such a beautiful song so brilliantly performed by Eugene Levy and Catherine O'Hara. Fly on and thanks for the laughs and memories Mrs. Deetz.
Mitch and Mickey were an iconic duo. RIP Catherine.

She was one of the funniest people to have ever lived. She had the rare and amazing gift of making the performances of the actors and comedians around her so so much better with only her presence in a scene.
