Double Bass Rabbath? Simandl? Vance? Grip it & rip it?

When all goes right, I exercise and practice every day except Sunday. Sunday is for relaxing and recharging. A normal Sunday looks like today: Grocery shopping-->Laundry-->make lunches for the week-->go for a bike ride with a friend-->dinner/hang with my wife.

Although today I will probably do a 30 minute calibration session on the bass before the bike ride because yesterday was too busy and I didn't get to play at all.
To each his own. I think I’m also in the one day off per week camp.

The never skipping days advice is also based getting results from a shorter practice schedule, as well. We all find our ways. Taking one day off is probably fine for anyone, really.
In strange times like this, a shorter daily practice goals have kept me on task. It also keeps on task with my technical studies during heavy gigging times.

With a few outdoor gigs on the books, I am more inspired and I am "playing" more. We'll how things go as we move into this next phase!

I actually found a teacher who teaches those books. We’re starting in a week or two. Cant wait!!

Great you found a teacher. I generally prefer learning on my own, but regarding bow (and stance), I don't think it could be effective to figure it out on your own. Few lessons will suffice (at least), but it needs to be in person.
Good luck!
