Double Bass Rabbath Teacher in the Southeast

Are there any qualified Rabbath teachers in the Southeast that you guys know of? I had my lesson with a big name player yesterday and they essentially said the way I practiced was wrong. I practice using the techniques outlined in the Rabbath Book 3 introduction/text at the beginning of the book. For example, I try to practice with one finger holding down the note versus the more Simandlesque "... when in first position, hold down B with 3 and 4 while keeping the fingers 1 and 2 down to provide support."
He is an extremely traditional (or as "traditional" as a bass player can be) player and his way of playing definitely works amazingly well for him, but I would like to learn more about the Rabbath technique from a person, not just a book.

Normally I'd tell you to call Shawn Conley, but he's at the ISB convention this week with every other bassist in the country.

I was planning on going but by the time my family said "yes" flights were too expensive. It's unfortunate.
