Color preference aside, do you prefer down the center or offset?

For that style, I prefer center.

In general, I would prefer something that does not run parallel to the neck. Something like the Fender Mustang, G&L Fallout Launch Editions, or Serek's optional racing stripes (or the Serek Grand batches with the stripe across the full body).

Edit... thinking about it more, I kind of want to see a dual stripe on the black with yellow stripe one you have here. Shift the existing stripe out away from center a little more, make the same stripe on the lower section of the body with a narrow gap of body color in the middle. May need to narrow the overall stripe width a bit to make it look right, but I would like it better than either option pictured here.

Honest, snark-free question: Could there be an option for no racing stripe at all? Perhaps, for some customers, a racing stripe might actually diminish the appeal of your product in development.

Voted for offset. I have a Schecter C4-GT, the GT stripes are centered. I like it, but sometimes the stripes and the strings all running together feels odd to my tired eyes.

Center in these examples. Offset might work better for me if it was a thinner stripe or two thinner stripes? Just imagining. Would have to actually see it.

I voted Center, because I liked it more than the offset in these two examples, but if I was considering a bass with racing stripe(s), I'd prefer the Mustang/G&L Fallout style of diagonal over either of these options.
