Rack Case Pedal Mount

Anyone know where I can get a 2/3u type recessed rack panel so I can do something like this?

Or maybe anyone has some suggestions for a DIY put parts together to make something similar work?

Cool idea. I looked around, but couldn't find anything.
However, rack recessed / extender brackets are quite common.
