Rack pack too hot?

Talkin about the cloth shoulder packs. Are they too insulated for a regular ss head? Any experience with fried heads? Or any rack mounted units for that matter.

Most rackmounts are fan cooled. What the rack is made of doesn't matter as long as there's room for ventilation. Convection cooled amps should have the fins exposed or set a little fan back there to help cool it.
