Radial Bassbone v2 VS J48 - DI only

I had the JDV and it was great, I sold it because of the size and weight.
I did downgrade to the J48 and it's a really good DI and i'm happy with the J48.
The radial website says the new bassbone v2 is like the J48 on DI.
If it's true the bassbone will better for me because of the loop switch and the 2 EQs to use on fly.
BUT I don't believe they did the J48 inside of the bassbone.
Does anybody did try it to compare them??

Any help will be appreciated.
tks.

Website says the DI is "similar" to the J48, so I doubt they stuffed a J48 in there. They have great customer service, so I'm sure you'd get an answer if you emailed them.

I don't know if the DI changed from the original to V2, but I have an original Bassbone, a J48, and a JDI.
My 2 cents - with both passive and active basses the JDI is by far my favourite of the 3, followed by the J48, then the bassbone. I didn't think the BB compared well at all to the other 2, and I really wanted it to.
