Radial JDI vs. Markbass Super Pro DI

Correct, plus most (all?) passive DI boxes have a significant drop in signal level across their transformer, so if you have a passive bass with relatively low output, it will be way too low when using a passive DI.

I used a Radial JDI with my passive Geddy Lee and it worked beautifully.

I have a super pro DI and it works great with all my passive basses!!!!! I have never had any sound man/front of house guy complain about low levels. it really gets rid of hum and noise more than my IMP or DB-100. It has a special little sound to it also. I think it is a great di and very solid made. I like the metal low-z input jack too. I do not know if it sounds better than the Radial, I just know it works great!!!!! And is very easy to use.

How big is the difference if I use Mark Bass DI out (I mean DI out from my MB head which is LM3) as opposed if I use DI out from,say, Radial JDI?
I know Radial is probably better,but is there a really REALLY noticeable difference?
