i'd be inclined to go with the passive box given your signal chain, and you might consider it less hassle (doesn't need phantom power).

but there are real DI experts here, chomping at the bit to expound and help! i think i'd get some more opinions! good luck with your choice!

 

[One Way]

I have a Radial Pro DI box (passive) that I’ve used in studio recording and live sessions with both passive and active basses. Unless your bass has particularly weak output I suspect the passive box will be fine. I don’t believe you can go wrong with either of your potential choices.
