I've just recently got myself one of these little beauties for my passive Bass Collection p bass, I've gotta say that it really brings out the natural sound of any passive bass, low outputs, and acoustic guitars. I don't know how it stacks up to the better products such as a J48 as I have never used it, but for half the price and size, you can't go wrong

Cool- i was considering getting one of these so I can sell my backup bass head I keep jsut in case. I could slip this in my bass case and have it in case of amp failure to go to PA.
