I have been researching woofers for an upcoming gig cabinet build. I came across the Radian 2216 Neo. Everything about this woofer statistically (and monetarily) is over the top insane. It has an Xmax of 21.3 and some really amazing specs. It weighs 14 pounds and is at 101 db spl. Radian Audio 2216 Neo 18" Woofer - Radian 15" 2216Neo. For $750 and a giant lack of reviews of this particular woofer buying one seems to be a roll of the dice to say the least. I would, as would many of us, be all over this thing if the price was half that.
Does anyone have any experience with Radian woofers in a DIY build?
