Double Bass Raezer’s Edge Bass Cabs

I'm considering buying a Raezer's Edge cab; I'm looking at the REBL 10, REBL 10 ER, or the REBL 12. Looking on TB, there's only 2 posts about these cabs and I'm wondering why there's not much interest in them even though they look like high quality cabs at a low price. Any info appreciated!

I used to play through one that lived at a club here in philly and it was fantastic. I've always remembered how good it sounded. The original designer and manufacturer of them was Rich(?) Raezer who was tragically killed by his son. The design is the same as before, I believe, but being made by someone else. The one I played was made when Rich was still alive. That said, I recommend them.

I haven't tried the REBL models, but I do have a Stealth 10 bass cab. I like it for guitar, but for upright bass I find I geta better sound through my Genzler/Gollihur or through an AI combo.

For a head I was using the Raezers Edge Luna amp.

An archtop colletor I used to play with occasionally had a 1x10 I'd use at his place with his early Clarus head. I liked it better than the Bag End loaded SWR Baby Blue I had then. I don't know the whole product range but based on that one if I needed another small cab and a Raezer's Edge came along for a good price I'd buy it in a heartbeat. They look nice too.

Unfortunately, I think Gallien Krueger decided that the Microbass cabinets and combo amps were the only cabinets they built with aluminum
shells and it's easier to use other materials. Before Acoustic Image, those little amps were all over the DB community. Recently GK has posted
that their going to have a new combo coming out.

There are used Raezer's Edge cabs up here in Milwaukee, where I grew up and am currently visiting my parents. Thought about grabbing one today because I could use a spare cab and don't want to spend too much. A 24 lb 1x12 for $250 seems like a good deal but I'm only vaguely aware of this brand. I believe they are still actively making them in Waukesha (Milwaukee area) but I could be wrong.
