Here's another song I wrote and recorded. It's a little 2020s ditty about drifting away on an ululating bed of fake self-sufficiency. Bass was a Fernandes P-J played on the P pickup through the direct out of a Darkglass amp.
The meandering, out-of-time bass solo in the middle is ideologically suspect and will probably be cancelled if I ever mess with this again. There are three situations in which I frequently speed up while playing: 1) slow songs, 2) hippie-ish jams, 3) playing bass with my fingers as opposed to a pick. Here, the solo's got all three, and I'm going for it.
