Rare Hartke cab (whatever happened to...)

Whatever happened to the Pro series Hartke cabs? There was the 2200 2x12 seen here, plus iirc a 2x10 in the same arrangement and a 4x10.
I see the 4x10's come up for sale every now and then, but the Pro series 2x10 and 2x12? Never saw one for sale new, never saw one in person, never see them for sale used, and no one I mention them to remembers them at all.

The mom and pop shop I grew up on has a new old stock one of those hanging around. They want $650 for it. I think it is the 2x10. I have never tried it but I look at it and I like the idea of the slanted top half. The price and the branding turn me off but I have enjoyed a Hartke cab or 2 in the past so I can’t openly hate on it. This design was right before the HyDrive series came out and was very short lived. Next time I am in town I’ll plug it it and give it a whirl!

It was too heavy and WAY too loud for most gigs. I remember people complaining that their volume controls couldn't go low enough with that cab. They also didn't really look like anything else at the time, and buyers can be fickle about that.

I had one at a rehearsal space years ago and it was just a monster - and we weren't playing loud but the projection on that cab was brutally loud.

I wanted one of those soooo bad back when I was using amps. Like you I never saw one in person. I wanted to pair it with a GK 400RB IV but I never pulled the trigger on one.

Two 12’s and too loud? From discussions I see here, many nowadays seem concerned that this configuration wouldn’t be loud enough, or is dismissive of any amp that’s not at least 300 watts, then some scoff at anything under 500.

it was very high spl.
That cab had a massive amount of low end, and I think that was generally hard to control. That, coupled with the weight made it pretty impractical.

I have a 410 Hartke cab with a 210 add on cab. The Hartke power head. Can't remember how many watts. Also have GK 410 along with a matching power head. Can't remember the wattage on that either. Haven't played or looked at them in years. Both are getting hard to come by as I understand it.
