Just waiting for me to explore...

Fun fun funk! Attention funksters and funkadelics!
Its wild, its optical , its whee-whaa…..
Controls: Gain, Mix (new!) Sensitivity, two mini-switches (new!): Mode and Resonance.
Now you can add some dry non-inverted sound to the mix for a nice sparkle.
Mode selects between full range and high pass frequency sweep, Resonance changes the tuning of the filter.
Just listen to sound samples, especially with Super Divider - anyone scoring porn?
9V battery, True By-Pass, DC jack.

Now with samples:

Is this the Bass-Distortion-Envelope, or just the Envelope Filter?

Just the envelope filter.

First off, I'll mention that I have limited EF experience. I had a little time with it last night and it seems pretty interesting. My bass is fairly low output, so I found the sensitivity knob to be very useful. I was easy to dial in a sound that was responsive. It was also easy to find a sound that would be natural (uneffected) for light fingerstyle that would really sing when I dug in. The gain knob is kind of just a clean volume boost, that sadly adds a little hiss to the pedal as it's turned up. Mix knob works well, you can dial in a bass-less filter only sound, or blend in a good bit of original signal for bottom end retention. It might be a bass isssue, but the only detail I could pick out easily from flipping the switches was volume loss. More later.

It doesn't have a lot of flexibility, so you like the sound or you don't. I think the mode and resonance functions work better on guitar as they push it into a range that doesn't sound good with bass (to me anyway).

It's not my last EV filter, but it's a new baseline.
