Rate replacement necks

what's to rate, all 3 are decent Fender feeling necks, along with WD, all depends on how much you want to spend, and what options you want. AP, MM, and WD are basic Fender replacements made in Asia, Warmoth is made in WA, and offers options for woods and fretting.

If you want modern construction Warmoth is where it's at, but it'll be a bit heavier because of the stiffening rods and what not. I have an Allparts neck that's top notch quality, I've seen hit and miss results with Mighty Mite. Personally I'd stick with Warmoth if I wanted a Modern Neck or Allparts for Vintage. Whatever you do stay away from Eden though.

I have been looking at Eden necks and read some Ok revievs (aswell as some not-so-OK) about them. Are they all crap? Why?

Eden is hit and miss, basic Chinese work, not great, but if you get a decent one, you can make a good player out of it with some work. I have had a few come into my shop from Ebay builders, and only 1 was not fixable, the others played well when they left.

I offer Warmoth, AP & WD necks as an option on some of my builds. All three offer good quality for the money (though if a customer is going to want a Warmoth with a lot of options, it very quickly gets into the price range of me building a custom neck).

I agree that Eden is somewhat inconsistent. I have no experience with MM.

The mighty Mites might need a nut--same with all parts. I put together a Mighty Might Telecaster that ended up sounding better than my USA Tele's so I sold them and kept the MM. Sometimes you can have good luck with the cheaper necks. Warmouth and a couple of the others are more expensive but they probubly have a more quality control thing going on.

USACG is the other "good" company besides warmoth.

i think they even do graphite rods in their bass necks, so solid like warmoth but not so heavy.

The one I had the frets were all over the place, jagged edges and far from level. The side dots weren't straight at all. It looked good from far away though, I had it hanging on the wall for a little while actually.

I'd say it's probably like Musiclogic said there's probably some good ones out there, you just have to be weary you might get a bad one.
