Double Bass Rattling tuner ear

The ear on the A tuner on my Azola buzzes, too. I haven't tried peening the pin, which is probably the best solution, but a dap of vinyl cement from the fly tying banch has kept it quiet for a month so far. Hey, it's what was handy. I'll bet a dab of beeswax would do in a pinch.

Paul, I only got the &&&&&, not the *****. It's gotten me this far, though...

Thanks for passing on the nice idea.

My friend Bob Ross did this and it turned out great. He epoxied the turner to the shaft, but also pinned them on as well. I saw some cello pegs in a picture last night. They would work perfect for turners.

Oops, I wasn't paying attention to this at the time. Just for the record, Paul, when you wrote this last post I had already solved the problem some days previously. Now here it is a month later and that one application of CA glue is still hanging in there aces...
