Hello all. First post here. I've been lurking a while and finally got to something that i need a specific answer for. I have a Sans Amp RBI that I love to play pretty distorted all the time, but would like to be able to switch to a cleaner sound when needed. I am looking at purchasing the Bass Driver Deluxe. What I would like to know is, if someone owns both of these, can you tell me if you can get the same sound out of both, seeing as the Deluxe is missing the middle control? My settings are more or less as follows:
Drive - 5:00 (max)
Presence - 12:00
Blend - 5:00 (max)
Bass - 1-2:00
Mid - 10 - 11:00
Treble - 1-2:00
I have read about the active tone controls and how just raising the bass and treble will "reduce" the mids further. Just wondering how well it translates in the real world.
