RBX 170

So I've got a blue Yamaha RBX 170 (my first bass). Awhile back the nut broke. so i removed the strings. quite old (4 years at least) And now its sitting around. Not sure what i should do with it. One of the knobs is loose and besides a few dings it worked fine. Thoughts?

Verify that the time without strings has not affected the neck. Put a new nut on it. Add strings and play, or sell for something new.

A black Yamaha RBX 170 was my first bass also. There is really nothing wrong with that bass - IMHO worth the relatively minor cost/effort to get it back in shape if the neck is still OK.
