RE-20 Space Echo Delay

Anyone ever try the Boss RE- 20 Roland Space Echo Delay on a bass? all videos i can find are using guitar. it seems like a very curious pedal.

Before I got a Strymon El Capistan this was my favorite delay of all time. It has an amazing sounding echo and the spring reverb is good in small to medium doses. It's a COSM emulation of the Roland RE-201 Space Echo and it does a pretty close job of doing so. It can use a n expression pedal for time. Repeats, self oscillation and echo volume.

RE-20 comes in around :17 (I forgot to turn it on at the beginning). That should give you some idea of what an Space Echo is like on bass.

Here is a recording I did a while back when I use to have my RE-20. The repeats are set for near oscillation, I have heads 1 and 3 selected and about 10% reverb on. Enjoy! Fender Geddy Lee Bass > fingerstyle
