You're most welcome, but the credit goes to Doris Keyes, who introduced me to this concept...when we were working together on reading, I'd read something and it would sound like notes & rhythms. When she would read it, it would sound like music. I asked her how she did that, and what I've relayed is what she told me.
To me, it's just like language. When you read written words, you don't phonetically pronounce each syllable and then string them together - rather, you "hear" the words as if spoken by a voice inside your head. Doris taught me that music is supposed to be just like that. It didn't take long for me to believer, and now I have the rest of my life to work on the concept.
